Infosys is seeking Microservices API Architect This position???s primary responsibility will be to provide technology architectural assessments, strategies and roadmaps for one or more projects & oversee development, implementation of program; providing technical leadership and support to software development teams by identifying best-fit architectural solutions. In the role of Technology Architect, you will need to have deep expertise in designing and Architecting. You will formulate target state architecture and Roadmap and should be able to lead team and provide technical oversight, guidance and review deliverables. You will be responsible for overall architecture and design of the solution delivered by the team. You will collaborate closely with the client stakeholders to align the architecture and recommend solutions, which meet with business and technology needs. Required Qualifications: ??? Bachelor???s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. ??? At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology. ??? Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Johnston, RI or willing to relocate to the area in the near future. ??? Experience in Microservices, API, API Gateway, Java 1.6 or Java 8 and AWS Cloud Solutions Preferred Skills ??? At least 4 years of experience with architecting applications E2E ??? Proficient with Design patterns with experience in React JS/ angular 2/4 / Node.js, Docker containerization, Java, Microservices ??? Experience as architect with hands-on extensive experience in Microservices, API, API Gateway, Java 1.6 or Java 8, AWS Cloud Solutions, Relational and/or NoSQL databases ??? Experience in one or more the following like Spring boot, ELK, Spring Cloud Services, Kafka, App Dynamics, API Gateway, Jenkins will be an added advantage. ??? Experience working on Secure-coding like SonarQube & Fortify ??? Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as JUnit, Mocking, TestNG, , Git, and Jira ??? Experience in Design and architecture review. ??? Understanding of concepts such as: cyber threat defense, high availability engineering, containerization, single page application development, server less computing, elastic scalability, high performance ??? Should be able to support Technical Consultants and leads in building solutions and providing technical mentoring and guidance. ??? Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions ??? Thorough understanding on the Life Cycle of Development including Deployment ??? Strong Customer orientation and customer facing skills with ability to interact at all levels of clients??? organizations ??? Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies ??? Analytical skills ??? Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment ??? Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
