Technology Architect - Level 3 Toronto, ON Must Haves: Minimum 5 years experience in creating enterprise architecture documentation Minimum 3 years experience in cloud technologies Public sector experience in a similar size and complexity as OPS Responsibilities: Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical architecture (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment. Responsibilities also include the identification of relevant information and the determination of the environment, which will be used for development. Deliverables: Architecture artifacts as defined by Corporate Architecture Review Board Architecture Governance Skills and Experience: Experience, knowledge and understanding of the OPS gating process and how to navigate the requirements at both a cluster and corporate level Knowledge of .NET Architecture Ability to work with security analyst and privacy resource AODA knowledge and requirements Knowledge of MGCS Architecture, Privacy & Security Requirements Ability to compile all documents and artifacts required Networking ability with members from MGCS and the OPS corporate and cluster architecture Motivated and envelope pushing individual who can meet and exceed tight timelines Ability to identify risks and gaps and provide solutions on how to mitigate those gaps Knowledge and ability to complete Conceptual/Business, Logical and Physical TRA's Knowledge and experience in Risk based architecture governance Knowledge of I&IT Project Gateway Governance Knowledge and Experience with Threat Risk Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessment and Security Assessments Ability to align architecture, privacy, security and IT solution requirements Understanding & knowledge relating to Architecture risks through review of business scope, IT Solution Approach, Technology Upgrade/Migration, Information Requirements & Information Sensitivity Ratings. Familiarity and Experience working with I&IT Project Scorecards
