Job Description
NC Wildlife Resources Commission needs a Technical Writer to document agency processes and procedures related to IT, Finance, and Customer Service functions.
***The candidate will be expected to work onsite for the duration of the project. NC Wildlife Resources Commission staff are returning to the office.
Expected Skills: Able to work with minimal assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to interview agency staff and document processes and workflows; manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Conducting interviews and translating technical and financial information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and financial personnel.
2. Developing and/or updating the following types of documentation: communications for diverse stakeholder groups; user manuals and training guides; standard operating procedures (SOP), policies and procedures for IT, Finance, and Customer Service processes and procedures.
3. Editing of special reports or any other deliverables and documents
Skill
Ability to independently conduct interviews with IT, Finance, and Customer Service staff in order to document processes and workflows. | Required | 3 | Years |
