Knowledge Management Content Writer


The purpose of this project is to assess the current knowledge articles, rewrite articles utilizing the Knowledge Centered Service (KCS) framework.

Review current articles
Document existing libraries
Review / document relevance of articles
Determine usage of current article (used by/for chatbot, end user, technical user, etc
Determine if there are redundancies
Rewrite articles utilizing Knowledge Centered Service (KCS) framework and store accordingly
Identify and document opportunities for additional libraries and/or articles

Document any gaps in current state per initial review
Inventory of rewritten articles
Documented opportunities for additional libraries and/or articles
Schedule Overview

January 2021 - Contract with Resource(s)
February 2021 – Initial review and documentation of current state is delivered
April 26, 2021 - Applicable articles have been written or rewritten and stored in new inventory location
May 5, 2021– Delivery of identified opportunities and any project closing artifacts

Technical writing experience (1-5 yrs)
Understanding of Knowledge Centered Service methodology
Practice writing different kinds of instruction manuals
Able to work independently (work will be remote) and in a team environment
Able to work with Tier 1, 2, and 3 technical staff and customers to update articles
Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel
Standardize content across platforms and media
Gather stakeholder feedback to update and improve content
