Job Title CAD/CAM Technical Support Engineer Relevant Experience(in Yrs) 5+ years of experience in CATIA V5/V6 and Enovia/Delmia Technical Support engineering roles Technical/Functional Skills · Support and/or deployment experience with: o CATIA V5/V6 and Enovia/Delmia suit of applications o Administrative and configuration experience of the custom deployments · As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide technical support to end users of CATIA/DELMIA/ENOVIA Applications. · Installation/access and license management of the CATIAV5, Delmia suite of applications. · The person should have technical production support experience with Catia/Delmia/ PLM and should be able to resolve technical incidents. · Technical knowledge of cad/cam experience in installation, deployment, bug fixes, end user support is required · Programming experience with CAA : C++ , Java , VB, .net preferred. · Able to understand and support L2 and L3 kind of tickets in CATIAV5 and DELMIA dependent applications. · Able to analyze the issue with the scripts associated with the CATIA customization environment. · Provide guidance regarding deployment and migration for key customer projects and optimized use of our products continuous monitoring of defects and tracking of each customer problem via our Bug tracking system until resolution with confirmation and validation of every solution provided to the customer from Technical Support · Strong Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience from concept, release through end of life using enterprise PLM tools such as ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE. · Develop documentation to share knowledge and capitalize upon the customer experience · Create articles, technical briefs, FAQ's within our Knowledge Base regarding product functionality, usage, workarounds, methodology, and resolutions of common problems encountered Experience Required 7+ YEARS Roles & Responsibilities · Analyze customer needs, perform impact analysis, participate in designing business process requirements, and ensure completeness and quality of the functional design. Investigate, analyze, and solve software/business/functional requirements related problems. · Networks with internal and external stakeholders, conducts interviews and gathers data for analysis. · Assists with identifying reports, journals and other market data for incorporation into overall analysis. · Work with stakeholders to understand current state and to identify the future state for the proposed solution. · Analyze data and identify gaps in the proposed solution, make recommendations for resolving gaps, and monitor results. Responsible for overall coordination of user acceptance testing and training. · Liaise with technical teams and client throughout development/implementation. · User documentation · Coordination with offshore and application Deployment teams. · Assistance in user acceptance testing and implementing the enhancements. · Analyze and work on change requests. · Prepare HLD and LLD documents. · Design, develop, test and deploy web applications. · Design and Development of PDM system through Java, J2EE and Oracle technologies. · Perform Impact Analysis, Prepare Analysis Documents and unit test plan. · Construction (Debugging, Coding, testing) - diagnose potentially dangerous constructs and also track non-conformances at early stages of Development. · Prepare the unit test cases and perform unit testing. · Review (IQA) of programs and unit test results. · Check the application standards which include coding standards and project architecture. · Attend status review meetings everyday with the on-site co-coordinator to discuss the current status of the deliverables and the updates on new requirements. · Suggest Process Improvement ideas. · Generic Managerial Skills · Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities. · Good written and verbal communication skills. · Experience with working in an agile environment. · Implementation of various productivity improvement with process optimization and application automation for leading aerospace/automotive customers · On premises support, troubleshooting abilities Education BTech.
