We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who possesses a background in product management and is adept at managing technical projects in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, serving as a Scrum Master to our development team, and bridging the gap between technical and functional aspects of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Act as a Scrum Master for our development team, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and priorities.
  • Utilize your experience as a product manager to provide insights into product development and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and functional teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and technology.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Manager in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with certification(s) such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or client engagements, particularly if located in the northeast region of the United States.
