Role: Technical Product Manager

Employment Type:  Contract – 6 months to a year (extendable)   

Location:  Miami, FL or Remote (Anywhere in the US)

  • This role is on the edge of innovation, and Product Deployment advisors will be required to manage multiple priorities to meet project milestones.

·         In this role, you will manage the deployment of new application and it’s software by working with technical and non-technical stakeholders and guide the Product and Deployment teams through the deployment of Product Initiatives.

·         You will be responsible for designing simple and durable solutions that meet complex business requirements provided by Product Owners, all with the goal of driving high quality predictable outcomes for our clients.

·         Host training and kick off sessions to educate internal partners on new product deployments.

  • 5+ years of corporate experience supporting Point of Sale technology programs and project management. 
  •    Experience in QSR (Quick service restaurant) industry and PAR Brink Software is a plus
  •    Industry experience preferences from the technology sector (SaaS, software, B2B) or restaurant sector.

5.      Experience deploying/implementing enterprise Accounting, CRM, ERP, or Data & Analytics projects.

About the Role:


As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for 
deploying new Point of sale (POS) software for the client’s current restaurant business and their chains across the US.  This role includes end to end large-scale implementations, vendor supported activities, special projects, and other client initiatives as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

·       In this role, you will manage the deployment of new application and it’s software by working with technical and non-technical stakeholders and guide the Product and Deployment teams through the deployment of Product Initiatives.

·       You will be responsible for designing simple and durable solutions that meet complex business requirements provided by Product Owners, all with the goal of driving high quality predictable outcomes for our clients.

·       Host training and kick off sessions to educate internal partners on new product deployments.

·       Develop and distribute meaningful communications that educate internal partners on new products, programs, initiatives and process changes.

·       Collaborate with Product owners to produce clear and actionable business requirements for new deployments.

·       Build durable and comprehensive solutions to address product business requirements.

·       These solutions should strive to reduce operational complexity and mitigate risk for new product deployments.

·       Anticipate barriers to success, evaluate contingencies and provide escalation management through out product deployments.

·       Review functional requirements provided by technical partners and identify gaps in documented requirements.

·       Make decisions independently by applying sound judgment based on business principles and supporting data facts.

 Qualifications:

1.      Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience. 

2.      5+ years of corporate experience supporting Point of Sale technology programs and project management. 

3.     Experience in QSR industry and PAR Brink Software is a plus

4.      Industry experience preferences from the technology sector (SaaS, software, B2B) or restaurant sector.

5.      Experience deploying/implementing enterprise Accounting, CRM, ERP, or Data & Analytics projects.

6.      Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple teams. 

7.      Experience building business cases, cost/benefit analysis, and executive business narratives.

8.      Ability to understand and translate business requirements into high-level solutions and be a liaison between business and engineering teams. 

9.      Extensive experience with Agile framework and delivery methodologies. 

10.   Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to relate technical solutions to business terminology and goals effectively and concisely to executives, team members and others. 

11.   Strong remote team leadership qualities with ability to work independently and across many time zones and outsource partners.
