Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Lead Engineer to oversee and manage the operational aspects of our technical infrastructure. This role is ideal for a proactive, solution-oriented professional with a strong technical background and proven leadership experience. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that systems, networks, and applications run smoothly while implementing strategies to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day technical operations of IT systems, networks, and applications.

  • Oversee deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

  • Develop and implement operational procedures, best practices, and standards to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, security, and support to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and proactively address potential issues before they impact operations.

  • Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operations staff.

  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure, processes, and standard operating procedures.

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • 12+ years of experience in technical operations, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure management.

  • Strong expertise in server administration, network operations, cloud services, and system monitoring tools.

  • Hands-on experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases, and virtualization technologies.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and projects.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and incident management practices.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements is a plus.
