JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Technical Business Consultant with experience in enterprise migration/transformation projects dealing numerous clients. The ideal candidate have experience in new platform/products adoption process with cloud exposure( preferred), using traditional, new and emerging technologies.

We are looking for a Technical Business Consultant who will be responsible for supporting and the driving the migration various systems to a new platform hosted within our cloud platform (GCP The ideal candidate will ideally have experience with Cloud and have a good track record of dealing with internal and external customers proactively in order ensure migration targets are met. Knowledge of working within the financial services/credit risk industry would be highly desirable.


Job responsibilities include:

Gather the knowledge of the current platforms and new platforms
Organize the documents and information to build a Knowledge Base for future support and FAQ
Collaborate and interact with various technical and non technical stakeholders (inhouse and external )to gather the information needed to platform migration and adoptions.
Set-up and configuration of new customer environments following customer standards and processes
Developing a sound understanding of business and IT processes.
Create and maintain internal support documentation for customer solutions and assist in maintaining and improving IT-related processes and procedures
Participate in daily project and triage meetings to provide support to the project team as required.
Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
Mitigates team conflict and communication problems; provides information that ensures interest and understanding


Working knowledge and experience with the following:

6+ years of experience in Information Technology
3+ years minimum experience in Technical Support role/Business Analysis - business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
1 + year of technology management experience supporting integration activities
Aware of cloud technologies and strong understanding of SDLC.
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Knowledge and understanding of application and distributed system technology projects


Required Skills:

Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at one time
Experience working independently and as part of a team to analyse and document the techno-functional details of the platforms and systems.
Proficiency in XML, JSON, REST, Web Services and related standards.
Good technical acumen in one of the cloud or software development technologies
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to go above and beyond to meet deliverables
Strong customer service attitude and initiative to investigate technical issues
Great attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
Good written and verbal skills
