Title: Technical Business Analyst Duration: 1 Year + Location: Brooklyn, New York Job Description The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements to replace TLC's Licensing/Adjudication system (TAMIS The senior business analyst is expected to perform the following tasks: Employ User-Centered Analysis techniques (conducting interviews, direct observations, Joint Application Development sessions, etc to understand business needs and clearly define the Business and Functional User Requirements Review existing documentation and applications Design and develop solutions based on the requirements by working with the business sponsor and team leads (Developers and QA Testers) to translate requirements into optimal solution designs The Analyst should deliver assessment of application rationalization MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 8+ years of relevant business analysis experience gathering and documenting high level and detailed requirements, technical specifications, use cases, and test cases, for large-scale government enterprise application projects The consultant must have hands-on experience with all of the tasks and deliverables listed in the "Scope of Services" section and must be able to work independently and with both functional and technical resources. The individual must have experience facilitating and gathering requirements Excellent communication, planning and organization skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong time management skills DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: - Experience in data migration and implementation of CRM systems Experience working with Licensing and Permitting Applications Experience delivering internet facing public sector web applications and sites Understanding of UI design concepts, and experience creating prototypes
