Job Description :
Role: Technical BA Location: New York (Onsite Position) Duration: Long Term Description: Perform gap analysis on trade and security data between different trading systems and portfolio repositories Provide position and transaction data integration requirements Support position and transaction integration development activities Analyze data coverage gaps between different equity risk reporting systems in anticipation of a system migration Provide broader support for risk and attribution business functions across different asset classes Must Have Skills: Basic understanding of the investment management business Basic knowledge of important asset classes, especially equity and fixed-income in the context of the investment management business Advanced skills in retrieving and analyzing data stored in relational databases, such as DB2 and Sybase Scripting skills that enhance the candidates data analysis capabilities, especially with Python, are highly desirable Excellent communication skills to interact with both business stakeholders and developers, onshore and offshore Ability to self-start and be resourceful in searching for solutions and completing assignments Roles & Responsibilities: Must have experience working on large scale projects Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff) Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or reengineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements Assess business process and system inefficiencies Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
