Job Title : Tech Lead/Sr. Developer
Location: Chicago Area (Remote until Covid is resolved)
Duration: 12 months + possible extension
Role & Responsibilities:
Strong working knowledge of
* Java 8 (or above), Spring Framework including Spring Boot and Spring Integration
* API and service based applications using REST and SOAP, micro-services and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications
* Databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL
* Basic Linux/Unix commands
* UI technologies such as NodeJS, ReactJS, HTML5 and CSS3
Working experience on
* Developer tools such as Rational Application Developer/Eclipse/STS, Visual Studio Code, DB client such as Toad/SQL developer
* CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Splunk
* Project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
* Agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban
Other/General
* Analytical thinking, ability to build working solutions from design and requirements
* Must be ready to code, debug and troubleshoot
* Experience in working with multiple teams
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and with other teams
* Proactive, flexible and ready to adapt quickly
Plus points (will be preferred)
* AWS and DevOps experience
* MongoDB experience
* Experience of a BPMN/Workflow engine like Camunda/Activiti/IBM BPM
