Job Description :
We are looking for a Tech lead in preparation of data lake convergence to EDP. This role will be ensuring data strategy and EDP’s reference architecture. Some of the expected activities will be:
Attend all relevant Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Demos, PI planning etc
Provide solution support and design review throughout development cycles
Align data pipeline code with ingestion patterns and standards
Act as liaison to coordinate activities with EDP and scrum teams
Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) :
The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) is an integrated suite of cloud-based infrastructure, applications and analytics tools that will curate, connect and integrate data from multiple sources and across different domains; helping democratize deep analysis of data across the company, enable rapid & iterative AI delivery and support proactive decision making throughout the entire organization.
Data lake :
The objective of the data lake convergence program is to converge on-premise data of the group company to the central EDP’s (Enterprise data platform) cloud platform in preparation of business applications migration later. Data lake consists of Customer Service, Power Delivery and smart meter data using Hadoop (Cloudera) and MPP database (GreenPlum) technologies.
Desired skills :
Overall 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, designing and implementing cloud based big data solutions as lead architect, delivery manager, or other relevant roles.
Strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) resource components and products identified in EDP’s reference architecture below.
Ability to think strategically and work effectively across internal and external virtual teams.
