Role: Tableau Administrator
Location: Scottsdale, AZ – Working remote during this time, and will report onsite once back to normal
6 Month Contract
Schedule: M-F; 9-5
Start Date: July 1st

Job Description
If you’re passionate about software development and providing great BIG data solutions, then we’d like you to join our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use the latest big data technologies and industry leading visualization tools to deliver world-class data solutions to our business partners. You will be responsible for the analysis and development of data sources, and automating the processes that drive our BI dashboards and reports. You will also build and support the platform infrastructure that enables our business to make informed decisions and get to know our customers better.

Responsibilities:
Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop – Able to assist users with complex capabilities guiding them on how to resolve their questions
Medium to Advanced knowledge of Tableau Server Configuration / Management – Manage and maintain the Tableau Distributed environment.
Provide business departments with operational support around existing and newly developed data solutions and reports.
Document best practices for Development and administration of the tableau Platform and provide end-user training.
Create system monitors and automation to ensure the environment is available and performant.
Manage Alation data catalogs and setup connections to MS SQL, MySql, Teradata, and other cloud data service APIs.
Work with business partners to gather analytics and reporting requirements and assist them in developing Tableau visualizations and workbooks.

Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, commitment to team, and positive attitude.
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Experience with databases such as SQL Server and MySQL a plus.
Experience coding in PowerShell, Python, or other languages.
Solid Linux and Windows administration skills, and understanding of system performance (memory, CPU, disk, I/O, network I/O, etc
