Job Title :Tableau Admin Job location: Des Moines, Iowa Job duration: Contract to hire Technical/Functional Skills 6+ years of experience as Tableau Administrator Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau administration with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring, and administering Tableau Server Very good experience in DevOps tools - Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc Hands-on experience with automation of deployment process using tableau python API and shell scripting Experience in Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing) Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, other BI tools. Strong development skills s in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations Experience in driving out requirements and building documentation process. Solid RDMS experience and data modeling and advanced querying skills. Experience working with a data warehouse and/or analytics team. Experience working with Annuities data is preferred Proficient in Project Management and SDLC processes. Awareness of agile/iterative approaches. Strong understanding of SDLC process is needed Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing Excellent communication, collaboration, & interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation Strong ability to communicate embed information, business process and system wide changes to a technical and nontechnical audience Ability to work on own initiative within agreed boundaries Flexible and adaptable Strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute work Experience with Agile project is preferred Experience using JIRA / Confluence is needed Hands on experience in data encryption at Rest, tableau external repository, version upgrade Ansible for CM automation Hands on aws cloud knowledge on compute,Storage, Data Security, SAML federation, LDAP protocols.
