No one knows when that will be as it may be several months. 4 year degree is a MUST HAVE Strong Windows Engineering experienceWindows Servers, Active Directory, DNS,DHCP etc. is a MUST HAVE Strong VMware experience is a MUST HAVE(vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, vROPS, SRM and NSX - not all are required but you should have manyor most) SAN/NetAppAny experience / knowledge is fine- (EMC, Dell ,IBM ,PureANY are ok) Cloud Experience is a MUST HAVE, Azure or AWS or Google or any other Any VMware Certifications or Azure or Cloud Certifications are a PLUS Anything else listed below is a PLUS: The Systems Infrastructure Engineer will be part of the Enterprise Systems team. The Engineer will work as a member of a highly technical engineering team in the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise-wide systems infrastructure. The Systems Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Manager of Enterprise Systems. This individual must be very strong in technical design, documentation, presentation and troubleshooting of complex environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Interface with IT and business groups for systems/cloud related projects Work in collaboration with other departments or organizations to develop and analyze systems in support of their projects, then upgrade or enhance the infrastructure to meet these requirements Maintain a highly available remote access infrastructure including optimization of Citrix application gateways and Citrix server performance Analyze Citrix Application Delivery performance, root cause problem determinations, capacity planning and preparation of reports as needed Define infrastructure requirements for the implementation of new applications Configure and troubleshoot systems related infrastructure including Wintel servers, cloud solutions, Vmware, SAN storage, enterprise applications, and load balancers Work together with multiple teams to resolve outages and restore business functionality as quickly as possible Develop policies and procedures along with appropriate documentation for implemented solutions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field preferred. MCSA, MCSE, VCP, MCP, Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect certifications a plus 5+ years of operational hands on experience in highly scalable and highly available technology environment Demonstrate enterprise-level expertise to manage VMware infrastructure technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, vROPS, SRM and NSX, on an global scale Enterprise-level support for the firm's 100% virtualized server network under laid with Cisco UCS B/C Series Servers and Fabric Interconnects Possess a broad understanding of networking and SAN technologies and concepts Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule as level 3 escalation point and to work occasional non-business hours in support of infrastructure or application maintenance Administration of Windows Servers and Active Directory Administration of Citrix Application Delivery Controllers (aka Netscalers) to implement application load balancing techniques and ensure continuous availability of services to anyone working from outside the office Hardware experience should include Cisco and Dell Servers. SAN technologies such as Dell/EMC Unity, Isilon, and DataDomain as well as Pure FlashArray storage Experience being on multiple teams in infrastructure, workstation, server and network support Understands the current landscape of cloud computing environments, managing SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions. Strong grasp of modern DevOps principles and experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, to maintain, plan, and implement cloud technology stacks, including but not limited to virtual machines, blobs, web apps, Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, NSGs, application gateways, etc. Experience with Powershell/Azure Powershell scripting skills a plus Experience with Exchange (2016) a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple, complex, long term projects simultaneously Demonstrated high degree of initiative, dependability and the ability to work with little supervision
