Roles: Systems Data Analyst
Location: 160 Pearl St Fitchburg, Ma 01420
Remote: Mostly On-Site (must be able to relocate)
Start Date: May 3rd
Duration:3 month contract to hire
Top must haves:
- Oracle-SQL
- Experience with Ellucian Banner
Job Description
1. Administer Banner Workflow. Design and build new workflows. Implement changes as necessary or as requested by users.
2. Administer Banner security.
3. Administer Ellucian DegreeWorks system. Working with consultants where necessary, administer security, ensure data feeds are processed properly, troubleshoot technical problems on the DegreeWorks system.
4. Script writing and reporting as needed.
5. Assist user community with Banner related issues.
6. Work on other IT related projects sponsored by Enrollment Management
7. Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
8. Document important procedures, technical instructions, and business knowledge.
Additional Information:
- Someone who has worked in school system- preferred
- Full time benefited APA Union position. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm.
- Salary: $59K - $63K Annually
- SQL Data Analyst, 2 years of experience.
- SQL programming is crucial to this position, preferably Oracle SQL.
- Banner runs on Oracle SQL
- PL/SQL nice to have but the manager knows its more advanced
- Someone who has worked in higher education is a big plus
- The team is fully remote but would like someone local to MA/NH.
- Looking at 2 interviews,
- 1 with search committee, 1 with CIO
- May have a technical assessment – still trying to confirm.
- Have opened up a search twice for this person on their own.
- Reason it’s open – they have someone else doing this work and need to take it off their plate
