This is a very similar role just more focused on the mainframe side of CA Workload Automation. It still requires ESP DE/ D-Series, but this resource needs more mainframe focused experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Systems Analyst with at least 5+ years of IT experience and CA Workload Automation DE or ESP dSeries experience specifically for Mainframe. This cannot be Autosys, we need this Systems Analyst/ Consultant to have CA Workload Automation with Broadcom products experience with DE (Now ESP dSeries) and ideally CA 7.
*CA Workload Automation for mainframe is a suite of Broadcom products, including CA 7 Workload Automation Intelligence and ESP Workload Automation Intelligence, designed to automate, schedule, and manage complex IT workflows on mainframe systems like z/OS
Top Desired Skills:
1. CA Workload Automation Experience (CA 7 or ESP Workload Automation)
2. Systems Analyst Exposure via Linux/Windows
3. **Mainframe transition experience (this is a must)
Job Summary:
Dominion Energy leverages CA Workload Automation for scheduling and job data/insight holdings. Currently, they have it run in .net in SC but still in mainframe in Richmond VA. Dominion has a partner to move from Mainframe to .net, but need an additional resources with experience working with CA Workload Automation for mainframe (ESP and/or CA 7) to help with the administrative and troubleshooting workloads in the technology
Work Environment:
Will work with 2 team members who are experience in CA Workload Automation in a 100% remote setting.
Business Drivers/Customer Impact:
Dominion needs to be off of their mainframe by 2026, so this has a 12 month timeline to get this work done. Moving to more modernized environment increases efficiency/saves message.
