Job Title: Systems Administrator III

Duties:



As part of the IT engineering and operations group, you will be a member of the team responsible for administering and maintaining SharePoint technologies and frameworks leveraged by DaVita’s Enterprise Applications. This includes both applications developed internally as well as off-the-shelf applications that the SharePoint platform technology, tools and frameworks to operate. Where required, the candidate will be asked to provide technical documentation, mentor peers/customers and provide generalized support functions. The candidate will be required to be flexible to support these technologies as a member of a 24x7 on-call rotation including nights & weekends, and may be asked to participate in early morning meetings, late night /weekend calls and participation in the deployment of SharePoint based applications and upgrades
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

As part of a team of administrators, provide tier 3 support for SharePoint farm infrastructure, application deployments and related projects
Provide performance analysis and capacity planning and assist in developing and engineering solutions to resolve identified performance issues in the SharePoint environment
Responsible for executing upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities in SharePoint environment
Participate in meetings with customers to identify and confirm future requirements and provides recommendations as needed
Manage security and address standards/compliance issues within the environment
Assist in developing and maintaining processes, procedures and monitoring to facilitate proactive responses to incidents and requests
Monitor performance of SharePoint environment and take proactive measures to prevent service disruption
Participate in disaster recovery exercises as required
Integrally work and interact with network, storage, server infrastructure, and other enterprise service support teams to deploy and ensure optimal operation of SharePoint environment

Qualifications

5 years of experience in managing and supporting large enterprise Microsoft SharePoint environments
Well versed in SharePoint 2013 / 2016 architecture, solutions, and migrations
Multi Farm Deployments and Stage Deployments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
Demonstrated Powershell experience
Connection Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups
Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels of the company
Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in responding to phone calls and emails
