Job Description -

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Location: Hagerstown, MD 
Work Hours: 7am to 3pm, M-F 

Duration: 6+ months

Core Responsibilities
• Support critical production applications and infrastructure solutions
• Execute time-critical support of industrial IT solutions
• Collaborate with global support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and end-user problems, in addition to using all available resources such as personal skills, vendor documentation, and online knowledge bases
• Use delegated authority from global operations teams to manage local infrastructure solutions
• Proficient in general network design and troubleshooting from a connected device perspective

Required Competencies
• Broad IT background including software and hardware support such as PC, laptops, smartphones, laser, thermal printers and bar code scanners
• Has ability to work in a fast paced environment which requires high level of sense of urgency
• Work patiently with end-users who are frustrated and need issues to be resolved quickly or helpful guidance with using the solutions
• ITIL Foundation Certified
• Problem Solving / root cause analysis skills
• Linux Ubuntu
• Windows 7 and 10
• Cisco Network Troubleshooting
• Problem Solving
• Manufacturing and business applications support
Desirable Competences:
• Raspberry Pi
• ThingWorx
• Six Sigma
