responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Supply Chain projects ensuring quality delivery, within expected timelines & approved budgets from requirement definition through design, development, testing, rollout, and support.
- Oversee the requirements delivery, design, development, testing, and deployment of Supply Chain projects.
- Create and maintain information technology project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, dependencies, critical paths, status, and resource allocation.
- Perform project planning and sizing activities, identify resource requirements, and oversee a cross functional team capable of producing specified deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Manage project risks, issues, interdependencies, and dependencies, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact.
- Manage a RAID log on an ongoing basis and facilitate risk mitigation, issue resolution and action planning to manage interdependencies.
- Work closely with developers, consultants, and third-party vendors to implement system customizations and enhancements.
- Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
- Develop and maintain a project budget sheet and track project financials at weekly and monthly intervals.
- Develop and execute a communications plan to identify and communicate major milestones and risks to achieving those milestones in a positive manner.
- Partner with Executive Stakeholders to build consensus.
- Work and associate with Quality Assurance Team to meet quality standards
- Work to ensure standard PMO processes are followed.
Key Task and Deliverables-
- Ownership of and responsibility for the following deliverables:
o Project plan/schedule.
o Gantt charts.
o Milestone list.
o Project financial tracking spreadsheet.
o Communications plan.
o Project status reports.
o RAID log.
o Steerco material as needed.
o Any additional deliverables to be defined as part of PMO framework.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years in IT project management with a focus on Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting projects.
- On site 4 days a week in Mounds View, MN
- Prior experience leading end-to-end project management for Supply Chain initiatives, including scoping, planning & analysis, execution (incl testing), monitoring, and closure.
- Prior experience creating work breakdown structures with milestones and dependencies so that the critical path is identified and tracked.
- Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to inspire and motivate project teams, foster collaboration and resolve conflicts. Manage project team in a Matrix organization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Budget Oversight: prior experience managing project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation while achieving desired outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills with proven ability to deliver clear messages, set expectations, and build relationships with all groups, even when delivering a tough message.
- Tools and Methodologies: Strong familiarity with Waterfall project management methodology.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint).
- Experience developing useful project metrics and applying those metrics
