Job Descripition:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle: supplier identification, negotiation, contracts, purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
  • Build, develop, and manage relationships with key aerospace suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to align material readiness with development and production schedules.
  • Implement scalable procurement processes, supplier performance metrics, and risk management strategies.
  • Develop demand forecasting and inventory management systems to ensure on-time availability of critical components.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, ITAR, EAR, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100).
  • Support hiring and mentorship of future supply chain team members as the organization scales

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations within aerospace, aviation, automotive, or similarly complex industries.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace supply chain regulations, compliance, and quality systems.
  • Proven success in building supplier partnerships and negotiating high-value contracts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, demand planning, and logistics management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities; thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience is highly desirable.
