About the
We are seeking an experienced Kofax Imaging Developer to support enterprise content management (ECM) and imaging solutions for a government client based in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Kofax tools, strong programming capabilities, and experience designing, building, and deploying scalable document and records management solutions in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain imaging and workflow solutions using Kofax Capture, KTM, Total Agility, and related technologies.
- Integrate and customize enterprise content management systems (IBM CM, OpenText/RightFax).
- Develop and deploy scalable applications using .NET (VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, WPF, WinForms) and Java technologies.
- Implement OCR/ICR, barcode recognition, and machine learning techniques for intelligent document classification.
- Create custom workflows and export connectors integrating backend IBM EE Content Management.
- Build web services and user interfaces using REST, SOAP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Configure production scanners (Fujitsu, NextScan) and scanning software for high-throughput environments.
- Document system architecture, workflows, and application designs for operational and audit purposes.
- Support capacity planning and maintenance of complex, multi-platform systems.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and regulatory standards.
- Assist with data migration efforts and develop EDS services/templates for IBM Navigator.
- Provide technical leadership, resolve issues, and mentor junior developers as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in:
- Document Management & ECM systems
- Kofax Capture 11, KTM 6.x, Total Agility, KCIC, KCNS
- Backend RDBMS (MS SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
- Scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, SBL, WinWrap Basic)
- OCR/ICR technologies and automated data/document extraction
- Web-based and client/server application development
Technical Skills
- Strong .NET development background (VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC)
- Web service development using REST, SOAP, JSON
- Strong understanding of system integration and workflow automation
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured documents
- Experience installing, configuring, and applying service packs on app servers/clients
Certifications (Required)
Candidates MUST upload copies of the following certifications at time of submission.

- Kofax Transformation Modules 6.x
- Certified Information Professional (CIP)
Preferred Experience
- AWS hands-on experience (5+ years)
