Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the development of a new internal software system—SERFIS (Securities and Retail Franchising Information System)—for the Division of Securities and Retail Franchising. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and technical requirements to replace the division’s existing system with a comprehensive, modernized work management solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
- Facilitate and conduct interviews and meetings with business users to understand system needs.
- Develop clear and concise documentation including business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Create wireframes and mockups to illustrate proposed system functionality.
- Manage and track all requirements using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to review and validate test cases.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives and are user-friendly.
- Support the development team in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
