Job Title : Business Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA, Onsite
Rate : Best competitive rate

Key Responsibilities

• Review, update, and remediate existing DPOR applications, forms, and website content for ADA and WCAG 2.1 compliance.

• Edit and enhance PDF documents to ensure compatibility with modern screen readers, including managing tab order, header tags, help text, form field descriptions, and color/contrast settings.

• Test digital content prior to publication to verify compliance with accessibility standards.

• Collaborate with board staff and stakeholders to provide accommodations for individuals requiring alternate access to information or services.

• Work closely with the Communications Manager to ensure all new web content, forms, and public documents meet accessibility and usability requirements.

• Maintain ongoing accessibility standards for new and updated website content, including board documents, consent orders, meeting notes, education provider lists, and other public materials.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required):

• Proven experience remediating PDF documents to meet ADA and WCAG compliance standards.

• Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and their application to digital content.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Advanced skills in A e Acrobat, including creating and editing interactive and accessible forms.

• Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, prioritization, and attention to detail.

• Strong ability to learn new tools, workflows, and technologies independently.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across departments and boards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of HTML and web content structures.

• Experience editing forms in A e AEM Designer.

• Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as JAWS, SiteImprove, or similar platforms.

• Professional experience in a role focused on accessibility coordination or web compliance.

• Certification or degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
