 Position: Subject Matter Expert

Location: Augusta, ME

Duration: 12 months

Either Webcam Interview or In Person

 Responsibilities:

·         This position coordinates all aspects of WIC technology including WIC Spirit, eWIC, Chat bot, One Call Now, website, computer and server upgrades and versions.

·         This position assists with WIC RFP and contracting of technology components.

·         This position brings proven experience from related businesses or organizations as well as system integration and technology experience.

·         This position consults with the program staff to define needs or problems, conduct research, perform studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyze problems to advise and make recommendations on business and technical solutions based on hands-on experience solving similar business problems.

·         This position is aware of OIT processes and procedures, anticipates and guides the program through the complexities of the Maine IT environment.

·         This position will be responsible for day-to-day management of the WIC MIS, WIC (EBT), One Call Now-texting program, Chat Bot and other WIC technology related initiatives.

·         This position will collaborate with WIC staff, project team members, and provide assistance where applicable.

·         This position will monitor and track the project schedule and work plan to ensure dates and goals are met.

·         This position consults with executive-level stakeholders to define business need or problem; conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data; and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.

·         This position conducts study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for solution.

·         This position analyzes data to determine solution, such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, modification of machines or equipment, or redesign of products or services.

·         This position advises program staff on alternate methods of solving need or problem, or recommends specific solution.
