Job Description :

Job Summary:
The Staff Electrical Engineer will support FPGA development in an embedded control system with microcontrollers, motors, and sensors (digital and analog interfaces). The role includes independent RTL coding, simulation, and implementation of FPGA designs based on hardware requirements. The engineer will also lead subsystem integration and troubleshooting, working closely with electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams.

Responsibilities:
•Document and analyze design requirements for implementation
•Perform RTL coding, simulation, and implementation
•Handle pin assignment based on hardware design
•Maintain HW/SW interface documentation
•Develop interface and control logic for serial buses (I2C, SPI, UART)
•Develop control algorithms for motor driver circuits
•Develop control algorithms for analog front-end circuits
•Support hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
•Support firmware and system integration and testing
•Apply risk assessment, failure analysis, and root-cause analysis as required
•Ensure all design activities and documents meet regulatory and QMS requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:
•Proficient in FPGA design and workflow
•Familiar with mainstream FPGAs and development tools
•Strong RTL coding skills; experience with VHDL and Verilog
•Familiar with embedded interface protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
•Good knowledge of electronics principles, circuit design, and schematic tools
