Sr. Test Engineer
Location : Baltimore, MD
Specific Residency Requirement: The candidate must have resided in the US for 3 of the past 5 years

Responsibilities:
· Perform functional, integration and regression testing.
· Lead the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
· Translate requirements and user stories into detailed test plans and test cases, and map test cases to requirements.
· Test and validate various data artifacts developed and use SQL scripts and other approaches to perform extensive data validation.
· Execute manual and automated test cases, document defects and test findings.
· Work with data engineering, business analysts and end-users.
· Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time and priorities effectively.
· Use standardized testing methods, tools and procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective and comprehensive.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, software engineering, or related field.
· 10+ years of experience with establishing comprehensive test practices and methodologies.
· 6 – 8 years of testing/development experience.
· 3-4 years experience in writing automation tests using Java, Selenium using testing frameworks like TestNG or Junit.
· Demonstrated experience working in a Big Data Environment testing ETL code.
· Possess strong technical skills to build advanced SQL Statements.
· Proficient in ETL testing basics, test case preparation and design, test planning.
· Experience in cross-browser automation and API testing (must have)
· Demonstrated experience with Scala, Spark, and knowledge of various data formats - Parquet, ORC, XML, JSON is preferred.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
· Health insurance marketplace or CMS Federal Facilitated Marketplace experience preferred.
