Job Summary We are looking for an experience IT professional to help us to implement and improve the IT systems that our team is responsible for. They will be analyzing system requirements and translating the needs of our internal and external clients into new high-quality IT systems. They will also be coming up with, and implementing, best practices that will help our team grow and excel in our duties as a high performing IT development & operations team. Responsibilities and duties Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including both hardware and software Discuss users' needs and determine vulnerabilities or areas of poor performance to boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in our computer systems Prepare cost benefits and analysis reports for computer systems upgrades Implements computer/IT system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing, and testing standards and solutions. Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements Defines application problem by conferring with clients, evaluating procedures and processes. Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements. Liaising with users to track additional requirements and features Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow Controls solution by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers. Provides reference by writing documentation. Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, and databases Manage the set-up and configuration of systems Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance Collaborating with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas understand software development lifecycles plan and work flexibly to deadlines Qualifications and Skills 4-6 years' experience working with information technologies and systems analysis Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle protocols Project management experience preferred Software design, documentation, testing, and maintenance Hardware requirements Teamwork Software architecture Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills Excellent analytical skills Critical thinking ability Strong problem-solving capacity and a good problem-solving attitude High-level written and verbal communication skills Project management skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Knowledge of data modelling and data visualization tools High level of skill architecting and developing with languages like Java Python Shell Scripting .NET SQL High level of skill working with ORACLE and MSSQL databases A good understanding of concepts like Microservices DevOps Agile A good problem-solving attitude Strong mentoring skills Required Skills : MySQL Queries Shell Scripting Python Java Spring Boot
