Job Description :
SDET Level 2
Portland, Oregon (Remote)

Required Skills :
writing tests for JavaScript applications. Experience using Jenkins, GitLab, Web driver and/or Jest.
Basic Qualifications :
4+ years of SDET experience, writing and running manual and automated tests, coordinate end to end testing, ability to test on a large scale application.


ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Build/maintain/manage functional tests
Help maintain test data utilities
Conduct manual and automated testing
Assist with release process coordination
Author and manage test scenarios
Coordinate with end to end testing team to represent our domain and ensure coverage
Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems & rectify the issues
Review app and feature code, and plan future upgrades with the development team
Implement responsible design principles to ensure that our website renders well on most devices and is accessible
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
Javascript experience
3+ years of experience working on large scale applications
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Experience with modern libraries and tooling
Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times
Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines
BONUS POINTS:
A solid understanding of best practices and techniques regarding web scalability, performance, and security
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Travis
Experience with test automation frameworks such as WebDriver I/O, Protractor, Jest and Nightwatch
