Edify Technologies is in pursuit of a Sr.QA Engineer with solid skills in quality assurance and testing of cloud-based applications to join our Client's dynamic team. Our Client provides innovative SaaS solutions to local governments. They are dramatically changing the way police, fire, code enforcement, health and safety inspectors, and court personnel do their job, streamlining processes, improving public interaction, and saving taxpayer dollars.

Required Skills:

  • Translating functional specifications into testing plans that capture detailed actions.
  • Creating test plans, writing, and executing tests (manual and/or automated), monitoring testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, tracking defect fixes and new features
  • Automation testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, or Ranorex are a plus
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Testing new software features and regression testing existing functionality
  • Familiarity with API Testing and Test-Driven Development
  • Execute test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing
  • Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile life cycle to identify defects and design flaws
  • QA certification like six sigma is a plus
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience with recent 3 to 5 years as a Senior QA Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the scrum team to test tech products
  • Ensure that the Application meets quality standards by designing test methods, driving test planning, monitoring test execution, and issue tracking
  • Participate in Scrum activities.
