Years experience:    3+  overall experience

Establishing, sustaining, driving, and monitoring quality assurance processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities throughout the software development and sustainment lifecycles. Provides leadership and consulting on quality assurance methodology. Leads quality improvements to requirement, development and test procedures and responsible for the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and tools. Mentors and directs other quality assurance analysts. 3 years manual QA experience.


Org Unit: Emerging POS Technologies



Key projects:

  • handheld POS project
  • deploying custom devices that are going into every SBUX in North America, highly visible project

Purpose of this team: Retail focused engineering- Connect Program (partnering with licensee’s)


Daily schedule:

  • Typical Day: Physically inserted test credit cards, walking around with the device testing, experience testing devices very important, consumer grade devices
  • Working with other partners in the lab and cross functional teams


  • Experience testing APIs, using SQL (SSMS) for complex database queries, .NET Core and Android experience preferred.
  • Manual testing with retail consumer electronics a plus.
  • 3 years manual QA experience.
