REQUIREMENTS
Requires general knowledge of computers; speak and write in a clear and understandable manner of internal/external relations; understands complex verbal and written instructions; must be well organized and systematic in work processes, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with groups and in the conduct of meetings.
Proven understanding of the Project Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle; competent in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and project management tools, preferable Smartsheet.
Proven management of complex system implementations.
Must demonstrate sustained high performance and strategic thinking with leadership skills and ability to work well individually and within a team environment, delegating and sharing decision-making with teammates as appropriate. Proven ability to lead projects; manage multiple enterprise projects simultaneously and communicates with project stakeholders through verbal, written and face-to-face communication.
A Bachelor?s degree preferred and 8 years? experience combining technical, analytical and functional experience including project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate preferred.
Directs the planning, managing and delivery of business systems solutions and associated applications, technical support services in support of business objectives. Includes project planning, estimating, execution, and implementation of projects. Responsible for working closely with the Project Managers, Business Analysts and Information Technology Services teams to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensures standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation are followed. Leads enterprise projects or initiatives supporting the business goals and objectives.
Creates and maintains a project plan, consults in departmental meetings, creates and delivers strategic presentations. Requires use of a personal computer.
Creates detailed project status reports, risk assessments, charters and issue logs for management and project team. Leads all aspects of a project including initiation, planning, monitoring, implementation and closing.
Creates, maintains and tracks project budgets, processes invoices, performs budget analysis; including cost variances, schedule variances, and earned value.
Leads or assists in contract negotiations, including RFP's, contract administration, and contract closure.
Manages vendor relationships including service delivery and overall performance as pertains to assigned projects.
Provides leadership and direction to the project team staff in a matrix environment including conflict resolution.
Uses critical path methodology and change management skills to manage assigned projects.
Mentors Project Coordinator, Project IT Specialists and Project Managers to increase project management knowledge, skills, and abilities in the Project Management Office.
Analyzes project trends, assists with enterprise project strategy, portfolio planning, and resource allocation.
Exhibits leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving challenging objectives.
Work with PMO Manager and Agile Delivery Director for instill portfolio and program management best practices.
Manage portfolio, program or initiative level projects that support IT PMO and EPMO
Create dashboards, project plans, presentations and other communications that support Program Management
Present Program Management updates at all levels from PMO up to C-Suite, as needed
