Role : IT Sr. Project Manager Analytics & Data Management
Location : Remote
Type : Long-term Contract
Role Description: We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage IT initiatives related to our IT's Analytics & Data Management portfolio of projects. This consultant will work under the IT PMO.
Immediate focus will be on projects related to cloud migration of enterprise environments such as Sharepoint and other enterprise platforms
Experience with AWS and other cloud providers, as well as with Microsoft enterprise technologies is a huge plus, as is the ability to work in an Agile/DevOps environment
Background in in the Pharma/Biotech Industry is ideal
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Preference is for PMs that meet above requirements AND have strong experience managing Agile projects
At Least 8 years of experience in program or project management with a Bachelor's degree with a life science, business, or technical background is desirable. PMP certification preferred, but prior success on the job is most critical
Prior experience with managing technology projects in Pharma/Life Science manufacturing, GxP and qualified/validated systems is a big plus
Has a track record of thriving in high-visibility, highly interactive roles with senior business stakeholders
The candidates need to be high-energy, positive attitude, flexible, team-player, self-directed, adaptable (lots of change) forward thinking (proactive), able to manage within uncertainty
Exemplary communication skills that build & establish business relationships; candidates must have very strong and polished communications and business interfacing skills as a strict requirement
Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
Possesses strong strategic orientation, analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and evaluate broad impacts of work
Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to lead, influence, and motivate others in the work group
Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstance
Proven aptitude to adapt to changes
Be the primary point of coordination between the Business Stakeholders, PMO, IT Leadership and the various technology teams
Present progress reports and updates and at appropriate intervals to multiple levels in the organization, from technology teams to executive management
Provide resource and financial plans to complete the project on time and within budget
Manage schedule, risks and issues using standard project management tools
Possesses seasoned expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques and financial management
Possesses in-depth understanding of the SDLC and how to apply it to relevant projects
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of IT functions and services
Is flexible, calm under pressure, highly communicative, and comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous situations
Has track record of successful integration across multiple and complex technologies and systems
Possesses strong communication skills and is savvy working with both technology and business partners across the organization in a collaborative way
