Position : Sr. Network Engineer Location Denver, CO Duration 6 months Summary: The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, build out and documentation of the network, Compute and Storage infrastructure. This includes designing, building, monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure to ensure the stability and integrity of the services. It also requires the engineer to respond to service outages and working with operations team members to troubleshoot issues and restore services. Responsibilities: Lead and guide the activities of Operation's team engaged in designing, integrating implementing, validating and documenting the network, systems and applications. Design, test and implement network infrastructure configuration changes and firmware upgrades. Determine, test and document new application network flows proposed in upgrades and releases. Ensure network services will fulfill resiliency and disaster recovery requirements. Manage activities with complete integrity and in accordance with the organization's policies, systems, practices and programs. Take lead in support for all network issues including monitoring infrastructure; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with 3rd party support resources and fellow Cloud Service engineers to manage and optimize our network. Proactively identify problems using available tools and monitoring. Manage and administer the processes and vendor relationships associated with colocation facilities, hardware vendor and etc. Manage all network switches, routers, firewalls, hosts, and storage. Specific responsibilities include installation, configuration, administration, upgrade and maintenance of Cisco UCS servers, Fabric interconnects & blade chassis, Nexus & Catalyst network switches, routers, F5 LTM, F5 GTM, VPN, and ASA, Juniper & Checkpoint firewalls. Participate in day-to-day infrastructure operations, technical guidance and support issue resolutions, including duty pager support throughout the workday, evenings and weekends; in accordance with published Service Level Agreements. Ensure infrastructure documentation is developed and up to date Drive documentation of Standard Operating Procedure documents and ensure compliance with change control processes and adherence to compliance standards and policies. Manage and maintain WAN circuits working with Telco's as needed. Requirements Solid understanding of fault-tolerant data center network design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance Proficiency with ESX, Vcenter, Vmotion, clustering / fault tolerant storage design Proficiency in TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, HSRP, STP, Site to Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, VTP and wireless technologies Experience with Cisco products, including Catalyst & Nexus switches, UCS technology, routers and ASA's Experience with Network capacity planning, troubleshooting and performance analysis Production environment experience consisting of Global load balancing, Local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS Demonstrate the inter-personal and communications skills required to lead teams in projects or major tasks Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience or education is required. Minimum Five (5) years' experience in network security and administration, LAN/WAN technologies with focus in Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls plus Cisco ASAs, routers, switches, network monitoring, and network operations. 3+ years of High Availability, High Security, Internet Data Centre Experience and the requisite rigor needed to operate in that environment Minimum 5 years working with enterprise class Compute / Storage design Knowledge and experience regarding F5 BIG-IP LTM VIP configuration with health check Knowledge and experience with F5 BIG-IP GTM Wide IP configuration Respond to support requests and participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and off-hours maintenance windows. Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Netapp, ESX, Vcenter, VSAN, hyperconverged technologies. Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM) Experience with Windows operating sytems,Linux, Redhat, CentOS Solid experience with languages such as PowerShell , Python, GO, BASH Strong experience with Cisco (IOS and NX-OS) switching and routing Certifications such as: CCNA, VCP, Network+, Security+, GSEC Configuration management tools CI/CD workflow and automated deployment frameworks Knowledge of PKI, SSL or Identity technologies Knowledge of ITSM/ITILNote: Momento USA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
