Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software.
The Georgia Tech Research Institute seeks a Sr. Mulesoft Developer to work with and under the direction of the Project Manager, Solutions Architect and with customer or product owners as appropriate.
• Advance experience in understanding the requirements and translate it into technical designs leveraging
services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web services and use of different mule connectors.
• Advanced and practical technical experience in version Mulesoft 4.2 or higher. (GTRI currently on 4.3)
• Advanced knowledge on AnyPoint Platform 7.5+.
• Advanced experience in creating RAML, good understanding of protocols such as SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST,
JSON etc.

Experience and Job Responsibilities Required
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft
• Hands-on experience on designing Swagger 2.0/3.0 and RAML 1.0 specs using JSON & YAML languages.
• Hands on experience in large scale API and SOA design, development, and deployment.
• Hands on experience in MuleSoft features like DataWeave, API designer and various Connectors to ensure
robust and loosely coupled integration layer.
• Hands-on experience in developing API with MUnits, exception handling and various mule core components
• Experienced in developing Mule ESB flows and integrations, RAML design, Mule Dataweave, connectors and
Exception Handling
• Advanced working experience and/or knowledge on administrative aspects of Anypoint Platform.
• Advanced working experience writing and running MUnit tests
• Strong working experience using web services/APIs to access and integrate with external systems.
• Strong development experience in core Java, JMS, XML, Web API - SOAP/WSDL, REST/JSON
• Advanced Experience in using database programming including JDBC, and relational databases like SQL
Server or Oracle
• Good exposure to Continuous Integration and Delivery tools surrounding Anypoint Platform using tools like
BitBucket and Bamboo along with Anypoint Runtime Manager.
• Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation to meet stated requirements
for metadata management, operational data stores and Extract Transform Load environments.
Preferred Education
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in Mulesoft – A plus
