- Client will sponsor h1's for conversion to perm if needed.
- There is no conversion fee after the 6 months, you (the corp) will ONLY be paid for the contract duration.
Manager is looking for a candidate that has a strong background supporting batch jobs, real time svcs, and API's. Candidate must be strong with data modeling within MDM. Candidate must have at least 5 years of MDM experience as well as have done at least 2-3 MDM implementation projects. BI tool is Cognos/Power BI. Insurance experience is great but not a requirement.
Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Application Specialist for MDM, ETL and BI Applications in the Information Management department. This person will be responsible to provide technical expertise to design and implement for all batch and real time data integrations as per functional business and non-functional technical requirements. They will be the senior hands-on developer for data, MDM, ETL and BI platforms in the team working under the general direction of a team lead or manager. They will collaborate with business partners, identify, and document IT system requirements for business change requests, perform efficient and effective analysis of system problems and manage the on-going maintenance of a group of related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Data Modeling and low-level technical design in MDM including developing data integrations for batch, bulk/incremental/real time REST APIs, define rules for standard REST API/SIF/Message Queue based integration for Search-before-create, bi-directional sync, implement Match Rules, develop extensions, user exits, and composite web services for solution integration etc.
- Works with Enterprise Architects to create as well as review low level and high-level design documents, data flow designs, support architectural solutions, develops MDM, ETL, BI, Data, strategies, roadmaps for one or more technology domains.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Junior developers in MDM, ETL, SQL, BI technologies, overall design of data, best practices, innovation, designs, and processes.
- Provides support for escalated production issues and as well as issues in any phase of the development lifecycle across MDM, ETL, BI and data applications.
- Supports continuous improvement by identifying and proposing tuning opportunities and opportunities to increase efficiency, quality, and speed to market.

Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, standard REST API/SIF/Message Queue based integration for Search-before-create, bi-directional sync.
- Experience on Informatica MDM hub components: Landing tables, base objects, staging tables, lookup tables, relationships, mappings, cleanse function, trust and matching rules, hierarchy management, E360 (provisioning) etc.
- Hands-on Experience in creating mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, worklets in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Strong functional knowledge and experience mastering multiple domains.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with IICS and/or Informatica PowerCenter, Cognos, Power BI or other ETL or BI technologies is preferred.
- Experience working with cross functional teams to execute projects in Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
- Superior technical knowledge in Data Quality, Standards, Governance, and Design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
