Mechanical Engineering background is a must and (Plastic and Metal) manufacturing maintenance experience required or Medical domain basic knowledge required Mechanical Equipment Maintenance, CNC Machine, Vision systems maintenance, Reliability Programs Job Description: Hands on Maintenance Experience as a technician Proven Root Cause Problem solving techniques - 6 Sigma, DMAIC, LEAN or similar Problem Solving - 6 Sigma, DMAIC, LEAN etc Execution of Reliability Programs Responsible for the maintenance, repair and setup of robotics, CNC machines, vision systems, and other control driven equipment Repair, program, and troubleshoot control systems on plant equipment Calibrate, repair, program and troubleshoot robotic systems. Calibrate, repair, program and troubleshoot vision systems Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance to get machines up and running to capacity Communicate with supervisors and managers to inform of situations that may impact production Contact and interact with contractors for maintenance issues requiring outside expertise Compile records of equipment and machinery information to use as maintenance resources Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts for all machines to minimize downtime Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with preventive and predictive maintenance on the facilities CNC and production machinery when necessary. Move and install plant and building equipment, layout and make necessary pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic line connections Carrying out maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment Performing periodic inspections on plant, machinery and automated systems Scheduling planned and preventive maintenance work Ensuring that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order Preferred Skills: Ensuring that machinery and equipment meets safety regulations Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures or malfunctions Repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components Checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored Documenting maintenance activities Knowledge of how mechanical systems and equipment work Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schemes Manual skills necessary to carry out maintenance operations Ability to use maintenance software and electronic management systems Ability to intervene promptly and efficiently, where required Reliability and flexibility
