Sr Enterprise Architect
Irving, TX
6-12+ months
This person will work with application teams to define "as is" architecture. Currently there are 204 applications. This person will also define North Star Architecture (future system architecture Will have a lot of "political" discussions-documentation and diagrams.
2 areas of immediate: 1) GRC areas (Governance/Risk/Compliance) across VZ where there are thousands of applications. Making this a central place. 2) OpenText/Filenet - document repository experience and automating. Adapt with process mining and process mapping tools - Automation Anywhere or Ui path or any other automation tools (no blue prism)
Technologies to look for are Agile, cloud implementation, CI/CD, app development, Web Services, cutting edge technology experience; AWS Certs are great, GPC a plus, Azure a plus, MicroServices
BI tools are part of this but not most important, BO, Teradata, Oracle, Cognos, Tableau, Quilk, SAP HANA- multi year experience is required; not a jr position
This is a leading edge enterprise architect position. Should have a lot of experience with many different technologies. Not a network architect position. Will be communicating with all levels across the organization.
