The project involves modernization of existing TSYS credit card platform to either TSYS2 / FiServ platform based on the discovery / analysis phase.
Job Description
· Deliver high-quality, secure, efficient, scalable, and reusable code which protects customer privacy and confidentiality at all times.
· Be responsible for the quality of code delivered.
· Partner with architects to transform existing monolithic applications into more modern decoupled applications in a scalable SOA framework.
· Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyzing code to identify areas for modification, as well as, maintain and support existing products.
· Provide input on our architecture, databases, and APIs.
· Consult with product managers to define, scope and plan new features.
· Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, quality, usable solutions are produced.
· Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve our overall solutions.
· Be a key participant in our agile development framework.
· Produce complete and coherent documentation.
Requirements -
· 6+ years of experience in all aspects of the application development process; including gathering end user requirements, coding, deployment, and the creation of documentation.
· 6+ years of development experience delivering scalable full stack solutions utilizing some of the following technologies: C#, ASP/ASP.Net, RESTful API, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, jQuery, SQL Server, No-SQL databases, React, Vue, or AngularJS.
· 3+ years of experience delivering Service Oriented Architectural solutions on either AWS or Azure.
· 3+ years of relevant experience one or more of these technologies is desired: Containerization, Service Bus (Kafka) Service Fabric, Transactional queues, Data Lake.
· Excellent written and oral communications skills required
· 4-year degree in computer related field or equivalent experience in computer systems desired.
· Familiarity with one or more typed functional programming languages and related paradigms such as F#, GADTs, HoFs, property-based testing is a plus.
· Experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems like TeamCity, Jenkins, Concourse, Hudson, Bamboo is a plus
