Sr. DevOps Technical Lead

The Role

Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Technical Lead, you will collaborate with Development Project team on the delivery of support and requirements, and contribute in design for projects as per the business needs. You should have experience with DevOps tools, and good communication and well versed with Java, Python. Good in development, and be comfortable to work as an individual contributor as well.

• Provides senior level consulting services to business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve IT and business management results.
• Develops and implements new processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
• Participates in defining and formulating senior leadership's IT strategy through the review of business objectives and value proposition.
• Advises senior leadership on future business direction and aligns IT with business priorities, strategies, and operating models.
• Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Recommends long-term improvements and changes to organization's IT systems to support future business direction and growth.
• Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.
• Administration of CI Tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube)
• Build/Enhance new capabilities and features to expand CI/CD tools offerings
• Ensure availability of the CI products
• Continuously monitor, maintain and optimize performance of CI Tools
• Work closely with vendor in addressing any major upgrades, plug-ins and critical tickets
• Continuous review and improve the DevSecOps CICD pipeline to ensure seamless end to end process from Build to Deploy across ALL SDLC and Prod environments
• Work with global teams across the organization to troubleshoot critical CI tools related issues
• Serve as subject matter expert for leading Best practices across DevSecOps, CICD, Rapid Release and related end to end automation
• Stay current with relevant emerging technologies, assess application to DevSecOps Support challenges or opportunities determining business benefit and impact.
• Train and coach global team members to ensure proper Level1, Level2 support for the CI Tools.
• Perform POC on net new implementation of enterprise solutions
• Lead/support across teams to enhance developer driven DevSecOps delivery pipelines

Requirements

You are:

• 10 or more years of working experience with Industry standard DevSecOps CI/CD Tools including: source code repository management, CI pipeline configuration, and/or binary repository management.
• 10 or more years of Development experience using either of the development platform (Java, Python, .NET, JS)
• 10 or more years of hands on experience in building, enhancing, and creating automation for a CI/CD pipeline
• 5 or more years of experience with working with either Maven or Gradle
• 3 or more years of experience performing complex troubleshooting and performance tuning of various issues within CI/CD tool chain using industry standard monitoring tools.
• 5 or more years of container experience
• 2 or more years of continuous testing practices and enablement through CI/CD pipeline
• Hands on knowledge on following tools.
• Groovy (must)
• Gitlab (must)
• Jenkins or equivalent CI Tool (must)
• Artifactory (must)
• Docker (must)

It would be great if you also had:

• Well versed with SAFe/Agile
• Security, Audit, Compliance
• Cloud platform AWS
• Experience working in financial services
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with OpenShift
• Experience with Security Scanning tools - CheckMarx, Twistlock, Synk, X-ray, Sysdig, Contrast Security any similar tools
• 1 or more years of site reliability engineering experience
• Experience in Java Application development, deployment, configuration, Unix and integration a plus
