Job Description:
Education/Experience:
BS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 6+ years or MS degree with 4+ years experience, or equivalent.
Required:
In depth knowledge of: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS. Ability to write Dockerfiles and Kubernetes yaml definitions from scratch.
Well versed in Linux compute, networking, storage, and DB''s (SQL and NoSQL
Expert in Ansible. Should be able to write automation playbooks for Ansible.
In depth knowledge of Jenkins including Jenkins plugins, and pipeline as code (Groovy
In depth knowledge of GitHub, Maven, Gradle.
Excellent scripting skills in Python, Golang and Bash.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Dev, QA, and SRE teams.
Preferred:
Experience with Spinnaker highly desirable.
Experience with the HashiCorp stack - Nomad, Consul, Vault is a plus.
Comfortable working with large-scale multi-cloud deployments.
Understanding the security and compliance aspects of DevOps.
Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.
