Job Title:  Sr. Consultant (Strategic Communications, Administrative & Change Management Support – Military organization and  Security Clearance)

Security Clearance Required: Various (TS, Secret, Public Trust), TBD at the TO level)

Job Location:  Colorado Springs, CO or Arlington, VA (partial Remote)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • A Senior Consultant I has a minimum of 3 years of Consulting and / or Directly relevant industry (Military, Airforce, etc) experience and / or Educational Training in related fields.
  • Sr. Consultant with strong experience with Strategic Communications, Administrative & Change Management Support skills in a Military organization with Secuirty Clearance).
  • Security Clearance Required: Various (TS, Secret, Public Trust), TBD at the TO level).
  • Experience includes: support program management and familiarity with client issues, assistance with design issues, leading client teams, analysis of project data, and development of appropriate deliverables.
  • Experience with Data Analytics and Modeling.
  • Formulates diagnoses through Financial or Statistical modeling, assesses appropriate alternatives, and offers conclusions to the Team Lead or Project Manager.
  • A Senior Consultant I is proficient in the use of firm tools and enablers to better support the overall objectives and goals of the program objectives.
  • A Senior Consultant I demonstrates these skills by performing status reports, verifying work plan completeness, and communicating with team members.
  • Development of leadership / management skills, performing benchmark analyses, building organizational design models, and defining business and technical needs.
  • A Senior Consultant I provides senior-level analytical and program support, and is focused on providing high performance work.
    • In Consulting Services, a Senior Consultant I contributes to engagement work plan development and often leads assigned engagement tasks to completion within scope and budget.
    • A Senior Consultant I assists in the development of engagement deliverables and contributes to status reporting.
  • Applies business modeling, process modeling, and software design techniques to meet project objectives.
  • Conducts analysis of appropriate consulting tools to satisfy program requirements, and creates project deliverables.
  • This position performs analyses and makes diagnoses, as well as defines symptoms and problems, and develops conclusions.
  • A Senior Consultant I also participates in organizational assessments, and leads performance measures and indicators analysis.
  • The Contractor shall review a subset of existing communications products (e.g., leadership briefings, intranet sites, email campaigns, etc) to help baseline existing communications approach, branding, messaging, capabilities, and key channels.
  • The Contractor shall conduct interviews and/or focus groups with stakeholders throughout the organization involved in ongoing communications efforts (e.g., public affairs) to help define goals, organizational trends, opportunities, insights, and risks. 
  • The Contractor shall identify and map key stakeholders across to help define potential pain points, needs, and business impact due to the proposed redesign.  The Contractor shall use this mapping to conduct stakeholder segmentation (i.e., categorize key stakeholder into discrete groups) and stakeholder analysis to better understand potential motivations for each group to help tailor subsequent campaign messages. 
  • The Contractor shall utilize review of previous communications products, outputs from interviews and focus groups, and stakeholder mapping, segmentation, and analysis to develop a Communications Strategy to help define overall communications goals, objectives, audience, messages, branding, and proposed tactics for stakeholders across the organization. 
  • The Contractor shall coordinate with relevant leadership to develop a Communications Timeline and Implementation Plan detailing the proposed cadence of communication product development and releases throughout the period of performance and in alignment with key milestones throughout the organizational redesign.
  • The Contractor shall create and deliver no fewer than one unique communications product (e.g., leadership briefings, infographics, emails, intranet site pages, FAQs, newsletters, etc.) every two weeks throughout the duration of the project to build buy-in and enhance stakeholder engagement on ongoing topics related to the redesign effort.  Contractor shall coordinate with relevant communication team members to help oversee and coordinate communications delivery and conduct quality control prior to dissemination. 
  • The Contractor shall define, collect, and measure relevant KPIs (e.g., emails opened, email responses, clicks on links/articles, etc.) to continuously evaluate communications products and their corresponding impact.  The Contractor shall also utilize ongoing surveys, interviews, and focus groups to collect voice of the customer insights from stakeholders on the effectiveness of communications products and assess the overall campaign.
