Job Title: Sr Business Analyst
Location: Houston, TX

Job Description:
Evaluates business processes, identifies needs, and develops strategies to maximize opportunities.
Be a thought leader in terms of defining the next generation needs of the business system and the product working in close partnership with the business product owners and business users
Interact with developers, stakeholders, system architects and various subject experts on an on-going basis to define the direction of the product
Collecting and analyzing data for potential business expansion and documentation of the needs and preparation of documentation (Stories, BRD, FSD) as required
Influencing stakeholders to support business projects
Leading projects and coordinating with other teams to produce better business outcomes
You will work closely with business and operations leadership, including executive leadership, to define the product requirements and manage expectations
You will work closely with the development teams comprised of Architects, Application Engineers, Integration Developers, Product Managers, UX Designers, QA and play a leadership role in functional architecture of the product
Support Business Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of functional product ownership with 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced environment taking a product through its complete lifecycle using Agile methodologies
Proven track record of working on large cross-functional software projects.
Strong business vision.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative approaches, and support engineering efforts to meet timelines with optimal solutions.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners for the program.
Strong judgment, especially relevant in balancing long term strategic investments with near term business goals.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
Able to provide architectural guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience working on AGILE methodology
