Sr Blue Yonder WMS Consultant

Long Term- 12-18 Months

Qualifications
College degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems
8+ years of hands-on programming and configuration experience with the Blue Yonder platform (Warehouse Management, Labor Management and Yard Management)
Hands-on developer experience with JDA Integrator, MOCA, Page Builder, Jasper Reports and NiceLabel
8+ years overall IT experience in a technical role as a developer or engineer
Hands-on experience with WMS hardware (e.g., label printers, scanners, Vocollect)
Ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations
Experience with ERP application integrations with WMS
Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
Work hours: 40hrs / week, 9-5pm CST
The Senior Developer is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills,
understands product requirements, develops the architecture and specifications
Participates in User Acceptance Testing and facilitates technical documentation of systems and
supports operational development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
The lead developer works with managers and peers to improve technical processes
This individual should be able to work with both custom and package software
Projects and Enhancements
Design, develop, test & debug solutions on WMS / WLM instances
Develop custom solutions as needed by leveraging web services, 3rd party integrations and internal data sources
Act as the technical lead for any WMS rollout projects
Participates in definition & setup of training environments when needed
Participate in installation of software and execution of conversion
Collaborate with all key functions within IT (e.g., Infrastructure, Integrations, PMO, Security) and the business to ensure cohesive solutions and coordinated deployments
Document and communicate all technical aspects of work performed
Optimize and Support
Provide customer service to users of Crate and Barrel system software applications
Troubleshoots any technical issues with the WMS platform
Work with other IT teams and 3rd parties as needed
Optimize and maintain the JDA platform (patches, upgrades, archive job maintenance)
Ensure all source control artifacts are updated
Constantly seeks opportunities to automate any build and deploy activities
Participate in the on-call production support rotation
Participate in and follow production change management processes and policies
Stay updated on applicable trends and new technologies
Maintains awareness of the overall IT landscape\
Accountable for properly following all IT standards, processes and methodologies as applicable including but not limited to Quality Assurance (QA), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
Other responsibilities and accountabilities may be assigned based on business and organization needs
Develop a teamwork plan working with manager and business input and priorities
Determine staff assignments
