About the job
We are seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced SQL Server database environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing backend database infrastructure and will be able to:
- Architect and optimize SQL database structures to meet complex system requirements
- Develop and maintain database solutions within Agile frameworks
- Implement deployment processes and manage releases for database changes
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability through proactive monitoring
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance database design and query efficiency
- Demonstrate a successful history of managing SQL Server environments in production
Qualifications
- 7 10 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in T-SQL is required
- Hands-on expertise in Database Design, Development, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, and Technical Support
- Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is required
- Strong understanding of database security principles
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is preferred
- Familiarity with C#/.NET and Visual Studio is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
