POSITION- Software Engineer
LOCATION- Agawam, MA
DURATION- 6 +Months



Project overview:- This project will be responsible for the following:
Documenting key calculations and attributes within the existing data warehouse.
Migrating the existing data warehouse to a new data warehouse based in Azure

This position requires a strong understand of data warehouse concepts including design and implementation practices including ETL processes; a strong understand of T-SQL and SSIS; and the ability to read and understand complex code.

Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in designing, modifying, writing and implementing software programming applications.
Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Strong understanding of T-SQL programming
Strong understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Strong communication skills with the ability work effectively on teams and independently
Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced and agile development environment and be highly adaptive and flexible
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Proficient with all of the following technologies
Windows
Microsoft Visual Studio
T-SQL (Transact SQL)
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS)

Experience with the following tools a plus
MS Team Foundation Server
Release Manager
Oracle PL-SQL (Procedure Language SQL)
Azure
