Azure SQL DBA
MUST HAVES for the role:
• Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure SQL Servers and Databases including installation, configuration, backup/restore, security, AD groups, managing resource groups, storage blobs, and disaster recovery.
• DDL/DML expertise, Optimizing and Performance Tuning using execution plans, Profiler and Database Tuning adviser. Application development or PowerShell automation experience a plus.
• Implement production releases and fixes. Troubleshoot application database connectivity/query performance, identify and advise on issues and necessary remediation as appropriate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under close deadlines with minimal supervision and under potentially stressful situations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables and responsibilities. Conceptualizes designs, develops, integrates, deploys and maintains the data layer and data components by applying specialized knowledge of information, data and database management disciplines to provide world-class solutions for our clients.
Education: Bachelor39;s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 5 to 7 years.
