DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This position will support the Energy Efficiency Services department of Customer Energy Solutions by serving as the primary reporting resource and providing additional system support functions as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, creation of new reports, addressing reporting errors, modifications to reports, completing regular reporting duties as required by the department, assisting with maintaining, administering, and improving systems used by Energy Efficiency Services, and other duties as assigned.
Essential duties and functions may include the following.
1. Researches, analyzes, develops, implements and configures report solutions in SQL Server environment
2. Investigates and analyzes complex business requirements
3. Provides impact analysis and recommends appropriate solutions
4. Identifies opportunities for asset reuse across multiple projects
5. Responds to issues from the user community
6. Prepares and maintains documentation related to the development and maintenance of system reports
7. Performs bug tracking and quality assurance tasks
8. Creates and prepares reports and analysis
9. Other related duties may be assigned
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
YES Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Business or Management, Engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems. Equivalent related work experience may be evaluated, if applicable.
10 Experience with report building, maintenance, and data management in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments as well as with various BI/Reporting tools (Report Builder, Tableau, PowerBI, or Salesforce preferred) for report writing and dashboard/chart creation
4 Proficient in eliciting report requirements from program staff and converting them into actionable reporting products
4 Experience with and knowledge of data structures and experience with scripting to manipulate data
4 Experience with data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting
8 Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, WebEx, and Teams
4 Proficient in change management methodologies and management of service requests using
ticketing systems
4 Proficient in developing documentation artifacts to explain report logic

Years Skills/Experience
3 Experience using Business Intelligence tools
3 Familiarity with utility business practices and relevant business needs
3 Familiarity in working with a government entity
5 Proficient in training junior staff in use of SQL and reporting tools
3 Experience in or knowledge of energy efficiency or demand side management programs
