Role: Splunk ITSI Developer/Admin

Location: Louisville, KY

Duration: Long term

Type: Contractual through IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER

Experience: 5+ Years of genuine and related experience

BR/H on C2C: DOE

4+ years'' experience with Splunk Enterprise
4+ years'' experience with Splunk ITSI
Strong regular expression knowledge
Linux administration
Windows administration (Windows Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2016)
Scripting Languages: Linux bash shell, Python, PowerShell and JavaScript are a plus
Experience working on glass tables, KPI and creating noticeable events in Splunk ITSI.
Ability to discover and mine data to develop meaningful insights into Failed, Unexpected, Incomplete or Delayed business transactions.
Develop visualization dashboards and indicators that identify anomalous activities using statistical behavior models, and machine learning.
Design and build automation solutions to template dashboards for large scale implementation for different business applications.
Expert level knowledge and understanding of Splunk "Search" language and building complex queries
Knowledge of how to customize Dashboards via the simple XML, advanced XML source, JavaScript, CSS, advanced HTML
Expert-level capabilities with regular expression and statistical functions
Experience with creating Splunk knowledge objects (field extractions, macros, event types, etc
Work with business teams to perform requirements gathering sessions to develop the scope and design of new and existing dashboards, alerts, reports, and data sources.
Strong problem solving, logic, and analytical skills
